Galaxy Note 8 render leaks emerged in all glory ahead of launch

Samsung has confirmed to launch Galaxy Note 8 on August 23 globally.

Earlier last week, Samsung confirmed to launch Galaxy Note 8 on August 23 globally, and started sending out invitations for the ‘Unpacked’ event to be held in New York City with a tagline: “Do bigger things”. The phone has long been rumoured to feature a “bigger display”, bigger than the Galaxy S8 Plus model, which sports a 6.2-inch display. And now the slogan “Do bigger things” along with a silhouette of S Pen coming itself from the firm has reaffirmed the rumours.

At the time, when there’s only a month left for the official launch of the Galaxy Note 8, new renders of the device have surfaced online, revealing it in all its glory.

The new render were obtained by a technology website BGR and are claimed to be created by third-party case maker based on the details shared by ‘industry insiders’. The images shown in leaks confirm that the phone will feature an Infinity Display, an iris-scanner, a front-camera, an LED and a light sensor. On the back, the phone has a dual-camera setup, alongside an LED flash, a heart-rate sensor and a fingerprint sensor. Also, on the left-edge, the phone sports a dedicated Bixby button—a button to operate Samsung’s newest voice-assistant Bixby. While the right-edge has a power button and two volume buttons. At the bottom, it has a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, speaker grills, along with a place to rest stylus S-Pen.

Under the hood, Galaxy Note 8 is reported to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 processor varying on regions, coupled with 6GB RAM, and powered with a 3300mAh battery. The phone is also rumoured to be launched in three colour variants—Orchid Gray, Deep Blue and Black.

Although, Samsung hasn’t said anything on Galaxy Note 8’s release date, the handset is expected to hit shelves sometime around September, in the month when Apple is scheduled to launch its next iPhone.
