The two models manufactured by Nexus are codenamed Marlin and Sailfish.
We already had a vague impression that Google is set to launch the latest versions of Nexus later this year. However, the recent images that surfaced the internet confirmed the news. The smartphones are codenamed Marlin and Sailfish and are appear to be a far grander versions of the present handsets.
Specifications
While, the Marlin is said to be equipped with a 5.5-inch QHD OLED panel with either a Snapdragon 820 or 821. The device that is powered by a 3450mAh battery will also be paired with 4GB of RAM, as well. Moreover, the handset will sport a 12mp rear camera along with an 8mp front camera. The device will also apparently consist of a fingerprint scanner which will be located below the camera module.
On the other hand, Sailfish which is relatively smaller in size is said to sport a 5-inch 1080p display and 2,770mAh battery. Other than these two features, the rest is expected to remain the same as Marlin.
The launch will most possibly take place in the month of October this year.
