The South Korean giant is expected to unveil two new smartphones during its Unpacked' event.

Samsung is expected to unveil its flagship Galaxy S8 smartphone on March 29th, and thanks to online leaks and half baked reports we have an idea of how the device is going to look.

The South Korean giant is expected to unveil two smartphones during its ‘Unpacked’ event. The S8 looks likely to include a host of new features such as improved photography and facial recognition for easy access to the device.

Now new leaks reveal more information about the device showing off some of the new features in detail. The news comes from the known tipster Evan Blass. The leaked image shows off the whole design of the device. The only noticeable difference in this latest image is the addition of the Galaxy S8 logo on the rear of the device, which will most likely also be present of the S8+ as well.

The US version of the Galaxy S8 is also set to have several other major differences to what we will see in the UK, the most noticeable one being the processor. US editions will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, while the UK edition will run on company’s own Exynos 8895 processor.

Launched in January, the SD 835 processor is expected to be one of the fastest processors ever built. It comes with improved efficiency as well as Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 technology. Other reports claim that the device will ship in Black Sky, Orchid Grey or Arctic silver colour options.

Set to go on sale on April 28th, both new devices will retail in Europe for €799 for the basic S8, roughly £692, and the entry-level S8+ will retail for €899, roughly £778.

Other online reports claim that the new Galaxy S8 smartphone will pack a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display and will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC. The device may either offer 4GB or 6GB of RAM along with a 64GB of internal storage option.

If rumours are to be believed, the Galaxy S8 smartphone will be put on sale by April 21.

Samsung has already announced that a voice-powered digital assistant named "Bixby" will debut with a flagship Galaxy S8 smartphone set to be unveiled by the South Korean consumer electronics giant.

Bixby enters a crowded field of digital assistants powered by artificial intelligence that includes Apple's Siri, Google Assistant, Microsoft Cortana and Amazon's Alexa. Samsung said Bixby will focus on letting people control mobile apps with spoken directives.
