Xiaomi launches Blue and Black variants of Redmi Note 4

The new colour variants have only been released for the 3GB/32GB and 3GB/64GB models of the handset.

Xiaomi has launched two new colour variants—Blue and Black of Redmi Note 4 handset.

Launched in August 2016, the Redmi Note 4 was made available in Gold, Silver and Grey colours, but the China’s tech giant has now introduced Black and Blue versions of the handset. However, the new colour variants have only been released for the 3GB/32GB and 3GB/64GB models of the handset.

In terms of specification, the Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch full HD display, 2GB/3GB/ 4GB RAM with 16GB/ 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded further using microSD card. It sports a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The smartphone is packed with 4100mAh battery and runs on Android 6 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 atop.

Unfortunately, Redmi Note 4 at present is available only in the Chinese market. However, earlier rumours had claimed that Xiaomi will likely launch the handset in January next year in India, and for the Indian market it was also rumoured to be powered by 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU.
