Samsung Galaxy S9 Image leaks
Rumours of Samsung’s next year’s premium smartphone are already doing rounds and now a new report claims that the Samsung Galaxy S9 will get a major upgrade in terms of design.
According to BGR, Samsung is also working on its own version of ‘facial recognition’ feature, which will compete with Apple’s TrueDepth feature on the iPhone X. The first look of the next year's flagship smartphone is also unveiled.
“We’re told by multiples sources that these renders are mostly accurate; one source told us the back is spot-on but the bezel above the phone’s display will be a bit narrower, and the speaker at the top looks a bit different,” the company wrote in a blog post.
Earlier reports suggested that Samsung is reportedly improving the iris scanner on its upcoming devices.
The new report also revealed that the device might sport a vertically-aligned dual-camera setup. The fingerprint scanner might shift on the back of the device beneath the camera module. The S9 might also include Samsung's Exynos 9810 processor or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset.
"The Exynos 9 Series 9810 is Samsung's latest flagship processor, with 3rd-generation custom CPU cores, upgraded GPU, and gigabit LTE modem with industry-first 6CA support, BGR stated.
