Huawei's 512GB smartphone, specifications spotted on TENNA
256GB is supposed to be a chunk of storage on any smartphone already; 512GB might be the new norm in the coming future. Last December, Samsung has already announced its production of 512GB universal flash storage (UFS) for next-generation mobile devices. However, Huawei’s already produced its 512GB phone and has been spotted on TENNA certification this week.
According to PhoneRadar, the details of the TENNA certification reveal a device from Huawei code-named NEO-AL00; it boasts a whopping 512GB of internal storage (ROM) and a massive 6GB of RAM as well. The certification also suggests the phone to support dual LTE SIM with Android running on top of it.
Having large storage capacity smartphones is pretty handful especially in 4K storage since 3-minutes of 4K footage takes up to 1GB. This also can be useful for storing high-quality movies, and games which take up a chunk of space.
One amongst the upcoming Huawei P20 series smartphones is rumoured to have this 512GB of storage, we believe that is highly unlikely. Even the company is scheduled to release its P20 series phones on March 27th in Paris.
