Xiaomi took the wraps off its Redmi 4A smartphone in India earlier this week at a price of Rs 5,999. The smartphone is currently on sale on Amazon and Mi.com websites.
On the specifications front, the Xiaomi Redmi 4A features a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) and is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset. The device offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, that is further expandable up to 128GB via its microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s MIUI skin layer on top.
On the camera front, the device packs a 13MP rear camera with phase detection auto-focus and LED flash along with a 5MP front camera. The device is powered by a 3,120mAh battery.
Xiaomi initially launched the smartphone only in China back in November, 2016. It soon became the best-selling smartphone during the Single’s Day sale.
