Gionee M6 and M6 Plus with 6020mAh battery launching on July 26
The Shenzhen-based smartphone manufacturer Gionee is all set to launch the M6 and M6 Plus smartphones backed by 6020mAh battery.
The company has officially revealed that the smartphones are slated to be launched on July 26 in China. Though, Gionee said that the launch will later be followed in other parts of the world. It did not confirm the dates.
Battery has always been the USP of Gionee’s smartphones. Thus, the company has also released an official teaser for the event highlighting a 6020mAh of battery.
Based on the previous leaks, Gionee M6 and M6 Plus is expected to offer encrypted chips in order to protects the data including call records, photos, documents and other information inside the phone. The reports also claimed that the smartphones will be more secure than any other smartphones.
While the M6 is speculated to feature a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1080 resolution, powered by Snapdragon 652 SoC processor, a 4GB RAM with 32GB built-in memory with no extra storage slot. In addition, reportedly, M6 will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and in terms of camera, the smartphone may feature 13MP of rear sensor while the front camera will sport an 8MP sensor.
While the specifications for M6 Plus hasn’t been surfaced yet. More information is expected to surface in the coming days.
