Watch: OnePlus 3 pushed to the edge with extreme durabilty tests

Unlike the earlier speed test, the OnePlus 3 heroically survives all the tests thrown at it without any difficulty.

Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus recently launched its latest flagship OnePlus 3 globally. Though the handset has received plaudits for its subtle design and powerful performance, the durability or the damage resistance of the device still remains a big question for potential buyers.

After multiple tests, now an all-inclusive durability test has been conducted by JerryRigEverything to find out how much punishment the OnePlus 3 can take.

Unlike the earlier speed test, the OnePlus 3 heroically survives all the tests thrown at it without any difficulty, and it is definitely a force to reckon with. With impeccable durability and adept performance, the device is here to rule the premium class, budgeted device market.

The OnePlus 3 comes in all-metal unibody. At 7.3 mm, the OnePlus 3 features a 5.5-inch 1080p Optic AMOLED display, powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor (up to 2.2 GHz), and support dual nano SIM card.

The smartphone boasts 6 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The OnePlus 3 also features fingerprint sensor, offering the ability to unlock the device in under 0.3 seconds. OnePlus’ custom operating system, OxygenOS, offers customizable and bloat-free operating system based on Android Marshmallow.

The OnePlus 3 utilizes Dash Charge technology to charge a smartphone. Unlike quick charging technologies, Dash Charge replenishes more than 60 per cent of the 3,000 mAh battery in 30 minutes.

With 16MP rear camera, OnePlus3 features Smart Capture—including HD Mode, Auto HDR and Dynamic De-noise, which compares several frames of the same photo and blends them together in post-processing to reduce noise. The OnePlus 3 also includes a Smile Capture feature, allowing users to take a photo using the front-facing 8 MP camera by smiling.

Dual-stabilization technologies– Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) – help reduce blur. The robust manual mode offers the benefits of a DSLR, including support of RAW image files, in one lightweight device.

The Graphite variant of the OnePlus 3 will be available exclusively on Amazon.in for Rs 27,999 whereas the Soft Gold variant will be launched in the near future.

Here is the earlier speed test the showed some discrepancies in performance of the OP3 in comparison to the Samsung S7 Edge.
