Samsung rips apart iPhone 7 Plus in AnTuTu benchmark test

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 has already started breaking records ahead of its launch. According to a video published on a Youtube, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is seen to have ripped through the AnTuTu benchmark test accomplishing a score no smartphone has hit so far. As of now, the only toppers are the iPhone 7 and the 7 Plus, scoring 172,001 and 181,316 respectively. In the Android front, the OnePlus 3T boasts of 162,423 score.

The video shows the Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950) with an incredible score of 205,284 on the AnTuTu benchmark which has now surfaced. This denotes a massive up from the OnePlus 3T’s score and furthermore rips apart the iPhone 7/7Plus, setting the Galaxy S8 at the extreme top of the AnTuTu benchmark chart as the new smartphone king.

The score could be demonstration of the immense power that the Galaxy S8 packs in the engine, because of the Snapdragon 835 or the Exynos 8895 chipsets. Depending upon the region, the Galaxy S8 will have one of these processors.

The current Geekbench result shows showed the Exynos 8895 variant beating the Snapdragon 835 one. With regards to however, normal task and usage, users should see no perceptible difference between the two chipsets. The new Galaxy S8 AnTuTu benchmark video also features advancements in processor technology, as both the SD and Exynos chipsets run on 10-nanometer architecture instead of the 14-nm architecture.
