Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale: iPhone models now available at 'lowest prices'
On Sept 20 (yesterday), online retailer Flipkart kicked off its Big Billion Days Sale, challenging its e-commerce combatant Amazon’s Great Indian Sale launched in the festive season. As Flipkart enters into second day of its sales, it has announced to sell Apple iPhone models at ‘lowest prices’.
“Eyeing on the iPhone? Gear up for the lower prices on all iPhone models, #OnlyOnTheBigBillionDays. Don’t miss it! #AbMehengaaiGiregi,” Flipkart posted on its Twitter handle.
In the series of discounts announced on the Apple iPhone models, prices of iPhone 6 and iPhone SE have been slashed heavily, retailing them around Rs 20,000.
The Space Grey variant with 32GB storage capacity of iPhone 6 has been priced at Rs 20,999. Although, the model is almost three years old now, it’s been confirmed to receive the latest iOS 11 update to run head to head with it successors on software front.
On the other hand, Flipkart has put the iPhone SE model under Rs 20,000 bracket. The online retailer is selling the device for Rs 17,999. The phone sports a 4-inch LCD screen and is powered by A9 chip with 64-bit architecture. On the camera front, iPhone SE features a 12MP sensor -- better than the iPhone 6, which sports 8MP rear sensor. However, the two sports same 1.2MP of front sensor.
The successor to these models, 32GB iPhone 6s is retailing at Rs 30,999, while the 128GB at Rs 43,600 on the website. Although, the variants are powered by A9 chipset, similar to its predecessors, the phone retains a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Both iPhone SE and iPhone 6s will get their OS upgraded to iOS 11.
Lastly, the 32GB iPhone 7 is retailing at a price of Rs 38,999. The phone features a 4.7-inch LCD screen, runs on A10 chipset and comes with a 12MP rear sensor and a 7MP front sensor camera. It is also known to receive iOS 11 upgrade in the coming days.
Furthermore, Flipkart is also offering Apple AirPods for Rs 9,999, Apple MacBook Air with Core i5 5th Gen processor, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB SSD at Rs 44,990 and Apple iPad 32GB 9.7-inch with Wi-Fi Only for Rs 19,900.
