Several iPhone 7 users recently discovered a glitch in Apple’s lightning port. It was found that the volume control dongle would stop working when the earpods remained plugged into the iPhone 7’s lightning port. This would mean that users could not adjust the volume, activate Siri or even answer phone calls if the earpods remained plugged into the lighting port.
However, an Apple spokesperson reportedly told Business Insider that this glitch does not seem to be affecting every product and that the problem would be fixed with a software update soon.
