After launching the Galaxy On7 in 2015, Korean giant Samsung is expected to release the 2016 iteration of the device soon. According to reports, it has also fetched a certification from China’s TENAA this month.
According to a report by GSM Arena, the device should be unveiled within the next few weeks. The website also claimed that the device has now been certified by the FCC as well.
The FCC certification confirmed a few features including a larger 3,300mAh battery. It also accompanies usual connectivity options such as WiFi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE.
While the FCC certification does not shed much light on salient features, the TENAA documentation pointed out that the smartphone would feature a 5.5-inch FHD display.
Under the hood, it is expected to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor, paired with 3GB RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone will feature 32GB internal along with external microSD support. On the camera-front, the Galaxy On7 (2016) is expected to sport a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front snapper.
The certification also suggested that the smartphone might feature Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. It will be available in a wide variety of colours including Gold, Pink Gold, Black, and Metallic Gold.
