Mumbai: Indian OEM Lava Mobile has launched two new affordable smartphones. Lava Pixel V2 and V2s are both decently priced at Rs 10,750 and Rs 8,750 respectively.
The Pixel V2 comes shipped with the latest Android Marshmallow operating system, with Star 2.0 UI layered in top of it. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, with 3GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM (expandable up to 32GB), and Mali-T720 GPU.
Featuring a 5-inch HD display, the Pixel V2 is protected by Asahi Dragontrail Glass coating. It sports a 13MP primary camera with autofocus, twin LED flash and 5P Largan Lens with Blue Glass Filter. The Pixel V2’s 8MP front-facing camera also an LED flash.
The Lava Pixel V2s, on the other hand, comes equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor, with 2GB of RAM, 8GB of ROM (expandable up to 32GB), and Mali-720 GPU.
Unlike the Pixel V2, the Pixel V2s runs on Android Lollipop v5.1.1 operating system. It features an 8MP primary camera with twin LED flash, along with a front facing 8MP camera with an LED flash too.
On the connectivity front, both smartphones feature 4G LTE, dual-SIM option, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and AGPS, along with 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio. The two smartphones are powered by a 2,500mAh battery.
