Samsung Galaxy Note 7 used more than LG V20, OnePlus 3T combined
Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 made quite an appearance in news this year given the smartphone’s reported battery explosions. After the second recall of the smartphone, the South Korean tech giant discontinued the device all together. While the company has been urging all users to return the device back to the company, a shocking new report by Research firm Apteligent claims that the device still remains to be used by most people till date.
According to the statistics provided by the research firm, the use of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices currently exceed the use of smartphones LG V20 and OnePlus 3T combined. “According to research firm Apteligent, there are more Samsung Galaxy Note 7s currently in use (as of last week) than there are LG V20 and OnePlus 3T combined, and only a handful less than the Moto Z. To put that even further in context, the Google Pixel, Pixel XL, and Sony Xperia XZ (which unbelievably beats out both Pixels) all went on sale around the same time as the recall, and all three of those devices outnumber the number of Note 7s still on the market,” reported 9to5Mac.
Samsung’s intentions to discourage users from making use of Galaxy Note 7 are quite clear. Earlier this month, the company announced that it will disable Galaxy Note 7 smartphones in the US market. The company even claimed that 93 per cent of the total Galaxy Note 7 smartphones from US have been successfully recalled by the company.
