Apple's new thin as a paper iPad Pro also folds like a paper

The tablet bends right from the centre making the 'magical piece of glass' look like a mangled piece of tech.

Even as tech companies look at striking the right balance between aesthetics and durability, the latter is often compromised thanks to the new bezel-less trend. In a bid to create a super thin iPad Pro, Apple seems to have overlooked the strength of the device.

Popular YouTuber JerryRigEverything put the latest iPad Pro to the gruesome scratch and bend test and not surprisingly, the tablet could not survive the first attempt.

The tablet bends right from the centre making the 'magical piece of glass' look like a mangled piece of tech. So if you are mulling a purchase of the latest tech, ensure you don't keep it unattended lest someone accidentally sits on it.

The new iPad Pro costs almost the same as the iPhone XR at USD 799 and comes in 11-inch and 12.9-inch models with Liquid Retina Display, updated Apple Pencil, USB Type-C connector, A12X Bionic Chip, and up to 10 hours of battery backup.
