Huawei launches Honor 6X with dual camera
Huawei has unveiled the Honor 6X smartphone with dual camera setup at an event in China today.
In terms of specifications, Honor 6X features a 5.5-inch FULL HD IPS display with 2.5 curved glass protection, powered by Kirin 655 octa-core processor (4 x 2.1GHz + 4 x 1.7GHz Cortex-A53) and Mali T830-MO2 GPU. Honor 6X dual camera setup includes a 12MP camera and another 2MP camera, while the smartphone sports an 8MP sensor.
In terms of features, Honor 6X comes with fingerprint sensor, 4G VoLTE support, and hybrid SIM slot. The smartphone is packed with 3340mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based EMUI 4.1 OS.
Honor 6X will be available in gold, silver, grey, blue, and rose gold colour at a price of 999 yuan (approximately Rs 9,999) for the 3GB/ 32GB model, 1299 yuan (approximately Rs 12,990) for the 4GB/32GB model, and 1599 yuan (approximately Rs 15,990) for the 4GB/64GB model.
Huawei has begun pre-orders for Honor 6X in China, however the company has not confirmed when it would launch the device in India. Honor 6X will go on sale in China starting October 25.
