Nokia 9 leak reveals dual-lens Zeiss camera, fingerprint reader on back
HMD Global has been tipped to be working on two Nokia smartphones — Nokia 2 and Nokia 9 for next release. Leaks of the former device, revealing its design and colour options, have already appeared online. And now, a leaked image reported by Nokiapoweruser.com, has confirmed a dual-lens Zeiss camera and a fingerprint sensor on the back of Nokia 9.
The image shown in the leak has highlighted a 3D glass back design, hinting wireless charging feature to be available in the smartphone.
The Nokia 9 smartphone will reportedly be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor, according to listing appeared on Geekbench. Rumours also suggest that it may pack 6GB/8GB of RAM and offer 128GB of memory storage. Additionally, the device is speculated to incorporate iris scanner and be IP68-certified.
HMD Global has been known to release about four ‘ultimate’ budget-friendly Nokia-branded Android smartphones — Nokia 2, Nokia 7, Nokia 8 and Nokia 9 in the second half of 2018. Among the aforementioned, the firm launched the Nokia 8 smartphone in August, while it is preparing to launch Nokia 2 and Nokia 9 within this year as well. However, it is yet not confirmed when.
Going by the rumours surfacing online, the launch of the two handsets can be expected not to be due for long.
