ASUS has finally unveiled its complete Zenfone 4 lineup, consisting of six smartphones varying across multiple smartphone segments. The ZenFone 4, ZenFone 4 Pro, ZenFone 4 Selfie, ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro, ZenFone 4 Max, and ZenFone 4 Max Pro will consist of ASUS’s smartphone lineup for this year. As usual, all these smartphones run on Android Nougat 7.0.
There is a total of six smartphones, out of which the basic one here — the ZenFone 4 Max, features a 5.2-inch HD display, Snapdragon 425, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, dual camera (13 MP + 5 MP) on the back, and a 4100mAh battery.
The Zenfone 4 Max Pro has a bigger 5.5-inch HD display along with a Snapdragon 425 or 430 chipset, as well as 2 or 3GB of RAM. There's a much better dual camera (16 MP (f/2.0) + 16MP) on the back and a bigger 5000mAh battery.
The ZenFone 4 Selfie and ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro have a 5.5-inch display, but former has an IPS LCD 720p screen whereas the latter comes with an AMOLED 1080p unit. The ZenFone 4 Selfie is powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor, ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro sports a more powerful Snapdragon 625 chipset. Both of them, however, come with 4GB of RAM as standard. The Selfie and Selfie Pro have 20MP + 8MP and 24MP + 5MP dual front cameras respectively. Both models come with a 16MP camera with autofocus and dual-LED flash. Both the phones are powered by a 3000mAh battery.
Last but not the least, the ZenFone 4 and ZenFone 4 Pro are the higher end models, with the latter being the flagship one. Both feature 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED displays, But, the Zenfone 4 uses a Snapdragon 630 whereas the Zenfone 4 Pro utilises a Snapdragon 835 processor. Both of them come with 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB internal storage and 3300 mAh or 3600 mAh batteries respectively.
The ZenFone 4 Pro retails for $599 (Rs 38,397), ZenFone 4 for $399 (Rs 25,576), ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro for $379 (Rs 24,294), ZenFone 4 Selfie for $279 (Rs 17,884), ZenFone 4 Max Pro for $295 (Rs 18,910) and ZenFone 4 Max for $235 (Rs 15,064). ASUS has announced the initial availability of the new Zenfone 4 lineup in the Asian markets followed by the western markets.
