Nexus Marlin spotted in benchmark tests with 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 820 SoC
Google is expected to unveil the next generation Nexus soon, but this time, along with Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC. Now the Nexus Marlin has been tipped in the Antutu Benchmark listings, revealing few specifications of the smartphone.
The image with benchmark results was first spotted on Weibo. The benchmark test reveals that Nexus Marlin could sport a 5.5-inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 chipset backed by Adreno 530 GPU.
The image also shows that the device will pack a 13MP rear camera while there will be an 8MP front facing camera also on board. The smartphone will draw power from a 3450mAh battery and will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box with 32GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM.
Nexus Sailfish on the other hand was tipped to feature a 5.2 inch display with 1080p resolution and 440 ppi. The smartphone was also spotted in the Antutu benchmark results.
The result reveals that the device will be powered by a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 1.59GHz. It will be juiced by a 2770mAh battery and boast USB Type-C port and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
Both devices will sport a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel and apparently share the same camera capabilities, on the front and back.
