Apart from LG G5, the preview program will be available to Nexus smartphone, Sony Xperia Z3, and Sony Xperia X handsets for testing.
Android 7.0 Nougat
The South Korea-based Electronics Company LG has announced that its G5 smartphone will soon receive the Android 7.0 Nougat preview program. However, the update will be rolled out only to South Korean units, initially.
Moreover, the G5 users in South Korea are required to use Uplus Cellular network. Also, in order to avail the Nougat preview the users needs to register on LG’s website.
Apart from LG G5, the preview program will be available to Nexus smartphone, Sony Xperia Z3, and Sony Xperia X handsets for testing.
In addition, earlier this month, LG announced that its upcoming flagship V20 will run on Nougat, the first non-nexus smartphone to run on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
