ASUS has launched its new tablet ZenPad Z8 with a price tag of $249.99 (approx. Rs16,500), and is available for pre-order at Version Wireless starting June 23.
The ZenPad Z8 tablet will feature a 7.9-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating, powered by a 16-bit hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz, and runs o Android Marshmallow 6.0 with Zen UI on top.
In terms of storage, the tablet features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can further be expanded up to 128 GB using a microSD card.
Packed with 4680 mAh battery, the tablet also offers 4G-connectivity via SIM re Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and GLONASS. As for the camera, the table sports an 8MP rear sensor and 2MP of front sensor.
Looking at the features and specifications, the latest ZenPad Z8 tablet doesn’t seem to be much of an improvement over ZenPad S8.0, launched last year.
