Google seems to be working hard to give Android fans more reasons to feel affection for the mobile platform. After reports claiming that the company is working on two new devices, internally known as ‘muskie’ and ‘walleye,’ but now there are reports about a third device.
While ‘muskie’ and ‘walleye’ will be the successors to the Pixel and Pixel XL, the new smartphone codenamed ‘taimen’ will be different smartphone completely. As far as the specs are concerned, the smartphone will feature a larger display than the other two devices. The third device now in development at Google is definitely a smartphone (or a phablet), not a tablet.
What’s unclear is whether Google will unveil these devices at the same time or not. We will have clearer picture about Google’s plan in May after Google I/O event. Until then the users will have to wait for the launch or the online leaks and reports for more information.
