List of Samsung Galaxy devices to receive Android 7.0 Nougat
Samsung has started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, while many other Galaxy smartphones still haven’t started receiving the update and customers are counting on Samsung to roll it out soon for their devices as well.
According to a report published by SamMobile, there are about 15 Samsung Galaxy smartphones that will begin receiving Android 7.0 Nougat in the coming days.
Here is the list of all the Samsung Galaxy devices that are confirmed to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update from the company.
- Galaxy A3 (2016 and 2017)
- Galaxy A5 (2016 and 2017)
- Galaxy A7 (2016 and 2017)
- Galaxy A8
- Galaxy A9/A9 Pro
- Galaxy S6
- Galaxy S6 Active
- Galaxy S6 Edge
- Galaxy S6 Edge+
- Galaxy S7
- Galaxy S7 Edge
- Galaxy S7 Active
- Galaxy Note 5
- Galaxy Tab S2
Samsung is also expected to push the Nougat update on Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016). In addition, the Galaxy Tab A is speculated to be in the list to get the update. Unfortunately, it is still unknown whether the Galaxy J3 will be upgraded to the latest Android version.
