Huawei is expected to a hold a hardware launch event in Germany on November 1. Many believe that the company will most probably be unveiling their latest smartphone – the Mate 9 at the event.
Just a few weeks to go for the event and numerous leaks regarding the smartphone’s speculations are already surfacing online. According to a recent report by Android Headlines, Huawei Mate 9 is expected to come with a 5.9-inch display with 1920x1080 resolutions. The device will reportedly be powered by its own Kirin 960 chipset and will offer users either 4GB or 6GB RAM and internal storage of up to 256GB.
The Huawei Mate 9 will be running on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat with Huawei’s EMUI 5 on top. On the camera front, Huawei Mate 9 will sport a dual-camera setup with 20MP rear camera and 12MP front camera.
Details regarding the Mate 9 were first leaked about a month ago. At that time, reports suggested the Mate 9 will range between $480 and $705 (approximately Rs 32,000 to Rs 47,000). While Huawei hasn’t confirmed any of the rumours yet, it seems like we will have to wait till their event on November 3 for more details.
