iPhone X is the fastest smartphone around, reveals Geekbench test
The much-talked about iPhone X is the fastest smartphone around, revealed Geekbench testing performed on its A11 Bionic chipset.
According to the testing results spotted on the Geekbench, iPhone X has able to beat all Android-run flagship smartphones, including the Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8+ and OnePlus 5.
It scores 4188 in single-core and 10069 in multi-core performance. In comparison, Galaxy Note 8 scores 1987 and 6784 in single-core and multi-core, respectively.
Apple’s previously used A10 chipset was also found ahead of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895 processors. And now, the latest A11 chipset has moved one step ahead after beating Apple’s own A10 chipset in performance.
At the launch of iPhone X, held on Sept. 12 in Cupertino, California, Apple did claim A11 is the “most powerful and smartest chip ever in a smartphone.” The testing results on Geekbench seem to prove the firm’s statement.
The listing on Geekbench has also revealed that the iPhoneX runs on iOS 11 and packs 3GB RAM, similar to iPhone 8 Plus. The iPhone 8 packs 2GB RAM, according to TENAA.
“A11 Bionic, the most powerful and smartest chip ever in a smartphone, features a six-core CPU design with two performance cores that are 25 per cent faster and four efficiency cores that are 70 per cent faster than the A10 Fusion,” reads Apple’s official page.
