Samsung Cloud rolls out to Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge

Samsung Cloud service offers 15GB of free storage space.

Samsung alongside the launch of its latest flagship, the Galaxy Note 7, introduced Samsung Cloud service on August 2, 2016. The tech giant is now rolling out the services to its previous handsets, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

According to the reports by Sammobile, the service has already been rolled out to Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in Italy, via a software update. In addition, the software update also comes with a few security updates and improvement to Bluetooth and NFC.

Samsung Cloud service offers 15GB of free storage space and enables users to backup their data for an easy access. The service was announced as an enhancement of Samsung’s Smart Switch feature, which allows users to transfers data from one Samsung device to another.

The report also speculates that Samsung may soon roll out the cloud service to Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge Plus, and Galaxy Note 5 in the near future.
