Samsung is bringing some of Note 7's features to Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.
Samsung announced to recall about 2.5 million units of Galaxy Note 7, just two weeks after the phone was launched.
Samsung recently announced that it was officially scrapping out its Galaxy Note 7 project. With that gone, many might not be expecting to experience Note 7’s features any time soon.
However, a recent report suggests that Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge owners are receiving an update which brings many of the Note 7’s features on to their own devices. Out of the numerous features, Note 7’s always-on display function is a part of this implementation.
At the same time there are many users who are also reporting broken features in the initial release. For instance, Samsung’s own email app isn’t functioning properly.
