Every time Apple brings out an upgrade to its iOS, owners of some iPhone and iPad models are put on hold to get an access to it. However, this time iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone SE are being affected from the upgrade.
On September 14, Apple released its newest version of operating system, the iOS 10. The update was rolled out to at least 18 Apple devices, including iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone SE, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPod touch 6th gen, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 4, iPad 4th generation and iPad Air, iPad Air 2, and iPad Pro devices.
T-mobile CEO John Legere warned T-Mobile customers to not to install Apple’s iOS 10. He claimed that the upgrade is causing iPhone 6, iPhone 6S Plus and iPhone SE units to lose connection to the T-mobile network.
His statement came after customer complained following T-Mobile’s latest carrier update, 25.1. Though, initially it was believed to be the carrier update fault, Legere claimed that is not the case.
According to a report by macrumors, Apple is working to resolve the issues faced by T-mobile customers, while in the meantime, T-mobile has advised its customers, who had installed iOS 10 and facing issues, to restart the iPhone each time it loses connection.
Moreover, on the day of its release, iOS 10 was reported to brick certain iPhones and iPads. Later to which, Apple pushed an upgrade of iOS 10.0.1 to help resolve the issue....
