LG G7 may arrive earlier than expected: report

The G7 smartphone, based on new reports, is expected to be launched in January next year.

The next LG flagship smartphone LG G7 could arrive earlier than the usual expected month, reported The Investor. According to the report, LG is considering to pre-prone the launch schedule of its G7 smartphone by a couple of months due to growing competition from rival smartphone makers.

Unlike its predecessor LG G6, which was launched in March this year, the G7 smartphone, based on new reports, is expected to be launched in January next year.

The South Korea-based tech company is also planning to unveil the biggest-screen V30 in August this year, a month earlier than the V20 launched last year.

However, the company has declined to clarify any advancement regarding the two launches, “Nothing has been decided on the launch schedule of the upcoming phones,” a company spokesperson told The Investor.

If rumours are to be believed then the LG V30 smartphone will be the first to sport a dual selfie camera setup. Previously, LG V30 has been rumoured to pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 836 processor along with 6GB of RAM, an improved DAC audio technology and a metallic body having chamfered edges. On the other hand, the LG is expected to be powered by 845 chipset.
