Samsung is set to launch its much-anticipated Galaxy S8 smartphone at its ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event on March 29 in New York. Leaks, speculations and promotions regarding the device’s unique features are naturally taking the rounds ahead of the launch. In fact, the company is even conducting polls, wherein they are asking interested buyers as to what they are looking for in their next Galaxy smartphone.
Needless to say, this question is receiving thousands of replies with some suggested a superior camera, a premium and stylish design and others expecting an enhanced battery life, powerful gaming performance and more. The official poll is however, hinting towards the possibility of new virtual reality functionality.
Separately, a Brazilian e-commerce retailer is also conducting polls for colours. On the basis of this, the smartphone is expected to arrive in colour variants: Black, Silver and Amethyst. However, there are chances that the new Amethyst colour might only be limited to the Brazil market.
The smartphone is expected to sport a 5.8-inch screen, 3D touch technology and a Bixby feature which will allow users to control all operators with the touch interface using voice commands with Bixby.
