Samsung reportedly delays Galaxy Note FE Korean launch

The refurbished Galaxy Note 7 is reportedly facing production issues.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is a name in the world of smartphones that brings unpleasant memories to its users around the world. However, fans of the ill-fated smartphone always wanted the device in any condition, which is why Samsung had to release updates to disable the smartphone during its recall period. Fans were delighted when they saw leaks of refurbished units of the Note 7 tested for a re-launch. And now, the latest news regarding the refurbished Note 7 or rather Note FE comes in the form of delayed launch in Korea.

The Galaxy Note FE has been reported to be launch on July 30 by Korean news website News1. The reason for the delay has been stated to be unknown production issues. The report mentions that Samsung wants to build adequate stocks of the Note FE, 300,000 units to be specific, before the launch in Korea. Samsung expects the Note FE to sell well in Korea which is why it is taking efforts to have a considerable amount of units in stock.

To recall, the Note FE will carry forward the Note 7’s reliable components like the 5.7-inch Quad HD dual-edge Super AMOLED display (1440 x 2560 pixel resolution) and octa-core Exynos 8890 processor or quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, clubbed with 4GB of RAM. It will also have a 12MP dual-pixel rear camera and 5MP front camera. However, the Note FE will ditch the original 3500mAh battery and will go for a smaller and assumedly safer 3000mAh battery. The Note FE could carry a price tag of $620.
