Upcoming iOS 12 misses out on this amazing feature

In an unfortunate report, MacStories conveyed that this feature has now been pulled off the iOS 12 release.

iOS 12 beta version is already out and Apple had uncovered various features of the software at the WWDC 2018 on June 4. Among all the wizardries which were unveiled, the one which enthralled various enthusiasts was Group FaceTime. However, in an unfortunate report, MacStories conveyed that this feature has now been pulled off the iOS 12 release.

The Group FaceTime was the scaled up version of Apple’s proprietary video calling feature. It allows 32 users altogether to connect with each other via video call who are displayed in several small windows on the screen. Moreover, the person speaking at a given time appears in a bigger screen and the window sizes keep varying depending on who is talking.

At the WWDC event, the feature was tested and no major flaws were encountered with it. The full version release of the iOS is going to take place next month and, before that, Apple must have across a few glitches during extensive testing.

As for when the company will roll out this feature to the users, it is expected to come in the next software version. The company might polish the functionality further till then. Well, Apple’s record shows that such procrastinations have happened in the past as well when features got delayed and came late than the time they were expected. However, the features end up being worthy of the wait.
