Upgraders beware! Samsung Galaxy Note 10 isn’t all that it’s made out to be
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 devices are rumoured to launch by the end of August according to a Verizon roadmap but new rumours suggest that despite its hefty price tag, the handsets will trail in comparison to its nearest rivals.
The OnePlus 7 Pro is a hot-selling handset and loved by reviewers the world over. It comes with an incredible 90Hz display that makes other handsets pale in comparison. There were rumours suggesting that the Galaxy Note 10 series will also come with this gorgeous display thereby justifying the huge price tag it commands. However, reputed Samsung insider @IceUniverse has quashed this rumour and says that the handset will feature a 60Hz display which in all honesty is quite disappointing considering its USD 1000 and over price tag. What makes the news even more disheartening is that the price of the OnePlus 7 Pro pales in comparison; making it a handset that’s still on top of its game considering it is an older handset.
The other major disappointment is that @IceUniverse has confirmed that the Galaxy Note 10 handsets won’t be coming with a headphone jack, a feature that’s long been rumoured for this device. This will be the first handset from Samsung not to come with his well-loved feature. In fact, this will be the first Samsung flagship to ship without this feature putting it on par with the likes of Apple, Google and OnePlus; which is not necessarily a good thing.
It’s true the Galaxy Note 10 will come with improved RAM and improved storage compared to the Galaxy S10, but losing out on important features such as the 90Hz refresh rate is a huge blow for consumers who are looking to upgrade to possibly one of the best smartphones in the world.
