Now you can delete unwanted system apps from your iPhone

Apple has also dumped majority of its apps to the iTune App store.

Apple has unveiled some significant improvements in WWDC, on June 13. Among its four major platforms, iOS indeed has received a major upgrade, the iOS 10.

Earlier, Apps such as, FaceTime and Mail—made by Apple were impossible to delete, tapping on, the apps never gave an option to delete. However, with the upgrade of the iOS, the company has allowed iPhone users to delete such unwanted app from its app stock.

Apps, including, Notes, Stocks, Watch, Weather, etc would no longer remain glued to the iPhones home screen, users can pull off the apps as per their will.

Additionally, Apple has also dumped majority of its apps to the iTune App store, making it easier for the users to manage the home page. Apps that only received updates once per year will now see more frequent updates, apart from OS-level upgrades.

However, Apple pointed out that removing in-built apps would impact other system functioning. For example, removing Weather app means that Weather info won’t be available via CarPlay or in the widget tool.
