Earlier this week, Samsung unveiled its much awaited Galaxy Note flagship, the Galaxy Note 7. Introduced with 64GB of internal storage, the phablet is speculated to launch with another 128GB variant in the nearby future.
Priced at Rs 59,990, the current Galaxy Note 7 model comes with 64GB of memory storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB by using an external microSD card. In addition, the phablet also offers 15GB of free cloud storage on Samsung Cloud.
According to a report in Korean Times, a Korean newspaper, Samsung’s Mobile Chief Dong Jin Kosh said that the company is in plans to introduce a 128GB variant of Galaxy Note 7 in China. Also, based on the certification sighted on TENNA, the company is also speculated to build 6GB variant of the phablet.
Kosh stated, that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will receive Android 7.0 Nougat update in two to three months after gathering feedbacks from users.According to the previous reports, Samsung S5 and above models may also receive the Android 7.0 update in the upcoming months.
In terms of specification, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 sports a 5.7-inch of Quad HD dual-edge SuperAmoled display of 1440X2560 pixel resolution, which is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phablet sports a 12MP of rear camera sensor with Optimal Image Stabilization, and a 5MP front-facing camera sensor. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is the first Samsung phablet to feature iris scanner, to unlock the device.
