Last month at a special event held in Paris, Oppo announced their latest flagship, the Find X and recently at an event in India, the brand unveiled the handset to the Indian audience. At the event, two of the most important aspects of the Oppo Find X was revealed. The smartphone will be made available in India on August 3, 2018, and it will be sold as a Flipkart exclusive for Rs 59,990.
The Oppo Find X is already listed on Flipkart and one can be notified by filling in their details. Both colours, Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue are up for grabs and they cost Rs 59,990. As of yet, there is no word on the limited edition Lamborghini model making its way here.
The main feature of the Oppo Find X is the edge-to-edge display and a motorised slider that pops up when the front-facing camera is needed. Whether you are clicking selfies or unlocking the phone, the camera slider comes up to scan your face. OPPO claims that the camera slider has been tested over 300,000 times for durability.
The Oppo Find X is comes loaded with an octa-core Snapdragon 845 SoC that is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. These features alone give it that premium offering. The Find X comes with a dual rear camera setup, comprising of a 16MP primary sensor with a LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), and a 20MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. It is integrated with features such as AI portraits and AI Scene Recognition technology. There is a 25MP camera sensor with a f/2.0 aperture for a front shooter.
Apart from the above-mentioned specs, there is a 3D facial recognition system that is meant to unlock the Find X. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5 LE, USB-Type C port, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, and GPS.
