Samsung revealed the dates for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ flagship smartphone launch at the MWC event that took place in Barcelona two weeks back. However, the company hasn’t revealed anything apart from that as far as the device is concerned. That hasn’t stopped online retailers and tipsters from posting a whole bunch of information about the two smartphones.
Now Dbrand, a company popular for manufacturing designer ‘skins’ for smartphone has apparently started taking pre-orders for the S8 and S8+ skins on its website. The skins are available in carbon fibre, leather, wood, metal and stone finishes at a starting price of $9.95. The company describes the device as ‘an engineering masterpiece’ and ‘an absolute fingerprint magnet.’
Samsung is set to unveil the two devices at its ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event scheduled for March 29 in New York.
The Galaxy S8 handsets have been rumoured to come equipped with an iris scanner, facial recognition technology and other such exciting updates.
