Apple iPhone 7 Plus with 3GB RAM is confirmed
The much anticipated iPhone flagship was unveiled just a few days back. However, not all details were shared with the viewers. The focus was limited to the new Home button and the removal of headphone jack among other things.
Thanks to China’s TENAA (Telecommunications Equipment Certification Center) and the recent Geekbench information, it is now confirmed that the iPhone 7 Plus will come equipped with 3GB RAM.
It seems like Apple is finally venturing into the Android territory by expanding its RAM capacity. As history suggests, Apple has always opted for a conservative amount up till now and most Android flagships these days have always been ranging anywhere between 3GB to 6GB of RAM.
Moreover, it also makes sense for the iPhone 7 Plus to come with an expansive storage given the fact that it comes with a dual camera, which will require more resources for support.
The iPhone 7, however, will still consist of 2GB of RAM just like the previous iPhone flagships.
