Galaxy J7 Duo with dual cameras and Android 8.0 launched for Rs 16,990
Samsung has unveiled its latest J7 series phone — the Galaxy J7 Duo in the Indian market. This mid-ranger phone will be available from April 12 and retails at Rs 16,990.
The phone features a 5.5-inch HD sAMOLED display and is powered by an Exynos 7 series octa-core processor along with 4GB of RAM. The phone comes with 32GB of internal storage and has a microSD card expansion. As the name suggests, the Galaxy J7 Duo features dual cameras at the rear – 13MP and 5MP with an aperture of f/1.9. The company claims that the J7 cameras come equipped with Live Focus feature, which was initially introduced in Galaxy Note 8. This feature allows the users to adjust the bokeh effect while taking the photo or after the photo is being captured. In terms of video, the J7 Duo supports FHD video recording at 30fps. On the front, the device boasts an 8MP camera with an LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. The phone also features Face Unlock feature with an already dedicated fingerprint reader mounted at the rear.
On the connectivity front, the phone supports Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0 and WiFi 802.11. The Galaxy J7 Duo is powered by a 3,000mAh battery and runs on Android Oreo out-of-the-box. The phone also comes in Black and Gold colour variants.
