HTC U Ultra receives a Rs 7,000 price cut
The recently-launched HTC U Ultra has apparently received a price cut of Rs 7,000. The smartphone, which was previously available at a price of Rs 59,990, is now available at a price tag of Rs 52,990, according to the Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom.
The smartphone retailer took to Twitter to make this announcement.
Furthermore, HTC has also reduced the price of its mid-range smartphone HTC Desire 10 Pro by Rs 2,500. The device is now available at a price of Rs 26,490.
On the specifications front, the HTC U Ultra is the company’s first smartphone to sport dual display: a 5.7-9inch QHD LCD display along with a 2-inch screen on top with 1040 x 160 pixel resolution. The device is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and offers 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, the device packs a 12-Ultra Pixel 2 rear auto-focus camera with BSI sensor, OIS, PDAF f/1.8 aperture and LED flash along with a 16MP front camera with BSI sensor.
The smartphone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology support. As for the connectivity, the smartphone includes 4G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2 and USB Type-C (USB 3.1).
