Oppo A83 to be launched in India for under Rs 15,000
Oppo launched a smartphone named Oppo A3 in China in December 2017. And recently surfaced reports suggest that the Chinese handset maker will unveil the A83 model in India on January 17th.
The phone comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD+ LCD display and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 processor that is clocked at 2.5GHz and offers 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable and can go up to 128GB. A83 is equipped with a 13MP rear-facing primary camera with LED flash, an 8MP camera for shooting selfies and video calls. It has given the fingerprint sensor a miss and opted for a face unlock, which can be as fast as 0.18 seconds, claims the company.
The smartphone has a 3180mAh battery and it runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and has Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, GPS, GLONASS and dual-SIM support.
91mobiles reported that the company is organising an event in Bengaluru and a source has reportedly confirmed that Oppo A83 that will be unveiled at the event and that the device will be priced under Rs 15,000.
While the model has already been launched in China, we have a fair idea of what the smartphone has got in store for us.
