Another code leak reveals new iPhone features: Face ID, animojis and more
The Cupertino-based tech giant Apple takes great efforts to keep its new set of technologies hidden from all until its showcase event, however, this time the company seems to have failed as most of the details of new iPhone have been revealed via its own test codes.
A day ago, a leak of code revealed official names of the three iPhone models – iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus – which Apple intends to unveil on September 12, tomorrow.

And now, yet another leak of the iOS 11 gold master (GM) build code has revealed details of new iPhone features, which includes new lighting modes for photographers, high-resolution video capture, and automatically-adjusting white balance.

The GM term referred in the tweet is commonly used by software firms for a 'set-to-release' version of a product.
There are further confirmations that Touch ID is out and the Face ID feature is in. The Face ID is an alternative to Apple’s Touch ID fingerprint sensor that will be used to unlock iPhones and make payments online.

Lastly, the new iPhone will come with Animojis – animated 3D animal emojis that use face tracking feature to create personalised expression.
