iPhones are the first thing that come to our minds when we think of premium devices. And if you shell out around Rs 60,000 for your new iPhone, protection of the device becomes your first priority. Paying for a decent, robust and fairly attractive case to slip onto the device in order to protect it won’t make a hole in your pocket. But known fashion brand Louis Vuitton has launched a new iPhone case that costs way more than the phone itself.
The luxury fashion brand has introduced a range of new cases for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, all under the Eye-Trunk branding, with prices ranging from $1,180 (approx Rs 78,400), and rising to staggering $5,500 (Rs 3,65,700). The top end of the case costs seven times the amount of the iPhone.
The $1,180 and $1,250 will give you an Eye-Trunk case sized for iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus respectively with company’s standard pattern used on many other products.
All cases come complete with four hard protective corners, as well as a latch in the middle to give the impression of a throwback to the company’s luggage creations which is the inspiration here given that Louis Vuitton started out as a luggage maker.
