New iPhone 8 renders show off running iOS 11 and design
A bunch of fresh renders of an upcoming iPhone has appeared online, showing off running iOS 11 for the first time.
Apple last week announced the upgrade of its iOS software to iOS 11 at its developers’ conference. While Apple is set to release the latest version of iOS to its devices later this year, new renders posted by iDrop, an Apple-dedicated news website, give an early glimpse into running iOS on an Apple device.
Additionally, some render images posted by the website also shine a light on iPhone 8’s design, revealing it to sport a glass back, end-to-end bezel-less display, without the home button, an iris scanner and vertical dual-camera setup.
According to a report by DigitTimes, Apple supply chain has begun mass producing components of all three of upcoming iPhone models: a 4.7-and 5.5-inch iPhones, featuring reinforced glass chassis with metal frame and a 5.8-inch iPhone featuring reinforced glass chassis with metal frame and AMOLED panel.
The newest iPhones are expected to be unveiled in September. However, earlier reports had stated Apple could delay the launch by another month due to designing issues.
