Google Pixel XL 2 appears online, sports Snapdragon 835

Spotted by Twitter user and tipster Roland Quandt, the Pixel next was spotted on GFXBench.

Google will shortly announce the next flagship for this year in September. Though the entire project of the new Pixel phones is a secret, Google’s Pixel XL 2 seems to have appeared on a benchmarking website.

The device, alleged as the Google Pixel XL 2, is not confirmed, but online rumours state that the device could be in test mode and probably sport the Snapdragon 835 chipset.

Spotted by Twitter user and tipster Roland Quandt, the Pixel next was spotted on GFXBench. The alleged device will sport a 5.6-inch display with a snapdragon 835 chipset, Adreno 540 GPU, a 2K display, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Additionally, the cameras will be 12MP and 8MP respectively.

As for the previous models, the Google Pixel was considered with the best camera to date, and pronounced highest rated on the DxO Mark scale. Probably, Google has much more to show off with the same resolution sensor.

Other rumours around online predict that the Pixel next will sport a glass and metal rear panel and probably ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack this time. The device shown on the benchmark site was running Android 7.1, but the final Pixel will roll out with Android O, v8.0 for sure.
