The OnePlus 7 Pro was the first smartphone to bring a screen with 90Hz refresh-rate that wasn’t a dedicated gaming phone. It was also the only phone that brought 90Hz refresh rate with an AMOLED screen. The success has rippled throughout the industry and now you have a few more options in the market if you are looking for a 90Hz screen.
More options will soon be flowing in with the Google Pixel 4 Duo and the upcoming OnePlus 7T series. Recently however Realme too has jumped in the 90Hz game.
Realme’s product manager Wang Derek confirmed the inclusion of a 90Hz screen on a future Realme device on Chinese social media site Weibo. While more specifications of the said device were not revealed, Derek said that the device will be cheaper than the OnePlus 7.
The new smartphone could possibly be the rumoured Realme XT Pro which is said to have a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED notched display.
The XT Pro is also rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 730G SoC under the hood with 8GB RAM and an onboard storage of 128GB.
Other rumoured specs on the XT Pro include a 32MP selfie camera, a 64MP main camera along with three more lenses in the quad-cam setup, NFC, in-display fingerprint reader, and a 4000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support....
