Apple to introduce red colour iPhone: Reports

Apple is reportedly in works to introduce a red iPhone 7s model next year.

Apple is reportedly in works to introduce a red iPhone 7s model next year, alongside the Black, Jet Black, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold variants.

According to a report by a Japanese Apple blog, called Mactokara, Apple will launch a red casing colour for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus successor, dubbed as iPhone 7s and 7s Plus.

The report by Mactokara highlighted that the iPhone 7s model will not feature wireless charging or a glass casing, instead it will introduce a red version of the iPhone. Additionally, Apple may completely move from A10 processor to the A11, according to the report.

Earlier, KGI Securities forecasted that Apple will launch at least three models of iPhone in the year 2017, including two iPhone 7 successors and one ‘iPhone 8’ with OLED display and no physical Home Button.

Contrary to Mactokara’s report, KGI said that wireless charging will be available on 2017 iPhone models; however, the charger will not be bundled in the box. KGI also said that the next iPhone 7 models will look similar to the existing iPhone 7 smartphone but will replace their aluminium body with a glass casing.

Macktokara is now considered to be a reliable source in reporting details about unreleased Apple iPhone, after it revealed about Apple to remove the headphone jack with the iPhone 7.

However, it is yet not confirmed whether Apple will release a red colour iPhone 7 or not.
