This is what the budget iPhone XS protection will look like

Cases for Apple's upcoming iPhone XS Max and iPhone 9 have already gone on sale.

Apple is set to introduce the upcoming iPhones next week and it appears that the veil of secrecy has been lifted. The brand who has been renowned for keeping their devices under wraps appears to be losing that bit of sparkle as most of the details regarding their upcoming handsets have been leaked online. As per a report by GSMArena, cases of the phantom iPhones — the 6.1-inch iPhone 9 and the 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max have already gone on sale.

As per the report, popular case maker Speck has already started selling their products at Walmart. The images show the cases in and out of their retail packaging as well as pictured alongside the current generation iPhone X. The image of the 6.1-inch iPhone 9 shows a camera cut out that appears to house a dual-rear sensor. However, this may not be the case as it is likely to be home to a single camera and an LED flash.

As far as the case for the 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max goes, we can see it be a lot larger than the 5.8-inch iPhone X and the 5.5-inch iPhone 8 Plus.

It appears that Speck has jumped the gun here and have already put their wares on sale.

Apple will reveal the next generation iPhones at a special event held on September 12 where they are expected to announce the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and the budget iPhone 9. All three smartphones are expected to feature a notched display along with Face ID. The brand will tone down the specifications of the 6.1-inch iPhone 9 in order to cut costs. The RAM on the budget iPhone is said to be 3GB, it will also house a single rear shooter and unlike the costlier smartphones, it will come with an LCD display as opposed to OLED.

Apple is also believed to readying a brand new Apple Watch which will most likely be called the Series 4. It is rumoured to have a 15 per cent larger display than its predecessor. The resolution of the Watch is also expected to be bumped up and the pixel density has been increased as well.
