Samsung announce mid-range Galaxy J3 and Galaxy J7
Last year Samsung unveiled the Galaxy J3 and Galaxy J7, this year, the brand has officially announced the 2018 versions of the same smartphones. As of now, prices and most of the details about the handsets are scarce but they do state that upon launch, the handsets will be launched at an affordable price.
In the new Galaxy J7, the handset comes with a similar camera as its 2017 predecessor. The handset packs a 13MP camera with an aperture value of f/1.7 and a front-facing camera that is 13MP with f/1.9. The J7 comes with a 5.7-inch HD display which in all probability is a Super AMOLED one as the 2017 version came with it.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 features a 5-inch HD display and will come equipped with an 8MP camera on the rear with an aperture value of f/1.9. At the front, there is a 5MP shooter that comes with a f/2.2 aperture.
Both handsets will come with Samsung’s Knox feature.
Justin Denison, senior vice president, Mobile Product Strategy and Marketing at Samsung Electronics America said, “When it comes to smartphones, we know that one size doesn’t fit all. The Galaxy lineup is designed to give consumers the flexibility to choose the phone that best fits their needs. The J3 delivers high-quality features at a great price, and the J7 with its huge HD screen and amazing, advanced camera, is built for users who want more.”
